"Tomato Soup" - SOLD

My studio is about 5 miles from my house. After I paint for the day I put the painting on the floor on the passenger side and drive home. This is a really bad idea. I'll tell you why. I glanced at my painting as I was driving home and suddenly I heard screeching tires. I looked up, hit my breaks, and rammed into the back of an SUV. My little corrola turned into an accordion. Stupid, stupid me. Never look at your paintings in the car. Arrggg. Well enjoy the painting.

That's a funny story. During the school year I paint during my prep period and when I come home I transport the painting in exactly the same way. I drive a jetta so it's probably just about as safe as your carrola. I like to look at the painting as I drive. It sort of helps me figure out what's wrong with it. I'm glad you're o.k.! I think I'll be a bit more carefull. I really like your paintings. They're very direct and spontaneous looking.
