Next Five

The Tie painting series are all 12"x12"

"After the Show"

"Blue and Gray"

"Blue Vase"

"Boat Ride"

"Along for the Ride"

The top 4 were painted for the show, and the last one was painted afterward for a friend.

These paintings were some of the last ones I painted for the show and I think they were some of my best. I was starting to really getting the results I wanted, and they were a lot of fun to paint.

AAron,
I find your tie compositions so interesting on several levels. You have taken this basic two dimensional inanimate object and given it kinetic sculptural qualities in several very interesting well painted compositions that many would not see as worthy subject matter. Thanks for reminding us to look at things differently and more creative ways. Med School update?

Aaron, how nice it is to have you back!
These are beautifully painted. Crisp brushwork and great lines.
Very unique way to display the subject too.

William Moore's comments are so astute! Your paint handling, color choices and spatial sense make these have such an abstract quality and make them look alive!
