"Small Teapot"

This is a handmade teapot I bought at the Pike Place Market in Seattle. I have had it for years. I have some glare on the photo. I have been trying different shoot spots in and around my home, but have not been very satisfied lately. I want to get a good photo of each painting...Any suggestions?

Check out this post for a do it yourself light box for photographing your paintings.

I found it referenced at Carol Marine's blog and wrote about it on mine as well.

I thought Carol and Qiang still photograph their paintings outside on a sunny day but actually photograph in the shade (of a tree?). Am I behind the times?

I don't know how Carol currently photographs her work but it was her June 20, 2007 blog post where I first saw this method referenced with a link to the strobist post.
