"Bind and Construct"These are the final paintings I did for the show. I was looking for a new direction and decided to set some rules and see if I could make some paintings based on those rules. The rules were:
- Set 4 things together in the center with two objects on top of two other objects
- Include ribbon
- Include folded or rolled fabric
- Include other supporting objects
- Light and paint.
We have moved and are looking forward to the start of Med School starting the end of this month. I very much appreciate all of the comments and emails I have received from all of you. I don't think this has been an easy change for me, however, I have been working toward this goal for about five years now and am excited about this next chapter in my life. I know I will continue to paint and draw as often as I can and will post when I do.

These are VERY nice! I like that you set rules to follow. It makes a fun challenge. Your tie series is great, too. Your shapes in all your still lifes are so interesting and I like your colors.

Excellent excellent! I love seeing your new posts :o) The piggy is my favourite object and I love the red slice of ribbon as well, it adds a real delicacy and continuity to the compositions. Great work again Aaron!

Your work is great, I like your direct use of color, especially "Bind and Construct". Setting up a few rules to follow was a nice idea too. I am always looking for ways to challenge myself, I'll have to try this.

HI Aaron! It had been so long since your last post, I just wondered how you are doing. I still have my painting that I purhased from you and I love it! This week I am attending a workshop taught by an artist named Carol Marine whose work I also love. And while in the class today I was thinking also of you when we were considering our favorite artists.
