This month has been, and will be a bit slow. Sorry. I have had some sick kids this week. And, I will be going out of town soon.
I actually tried to do a landscape painting yesterday since the weather was looking a bit nicer. So I went up the canyon and set up. However, I did not last very long because it was bitter-cold. I got back in my car and realized that it was twenty degrees colder than in the valley. I think I will have to wait for a few more weeks.

Wow Aaron,
Are those plums? I like the title.
Nice colour combination, and as always
brilliant style.

Aaron, I love the dark and mysterious quality of your painting! Beautiful blue and purple combination!
great as usual..but.. waiting for your larger ones
Love this. Brilliant.
I have admired your art in this blog for a long time. I imagine you must be cleaning your brush often to keep such clear fresh colors? I look forward to seeing your work each post! thanks for the inspiration.
very good

Hi Aaron,
Your "Painting a Day" comes to my inbox like a little gift to which I look forward very much. I love the edges you find in even the most organic material... it's facinating. To me, your work suceeds best when you put a strong light on your subject & give us some interesting darks/lights & contrasting colors.
I, too, eagerly await some larger work. In the meantime, I am enjoying these little paintings very much & wish you continued success!

I keep thinking of Boo-Berry cereal. I don't mean that badly - it's not often that you see that purple and that blue combined. I love the simplicity.
Holy smokes! This is an amazing painting! I absolutely love it!
Nice use of colors. You have a special talent for blending them.
Thanks for sharing.
