First Five

"Oranges in a Bowl" 12x9

"Little bit of Yellow" 12x9

"Looking Off" 10x8

"Sugar Bowl" 12x9

"Tour Guide" 10x8

Here are some of the earliest paintings I did for the show. I will be posting all of my paintings from the show this week, however, you can see all of my paintings right now at the 15th Street Gallery website.

These were all fun paintings to do. They were really some of my first attempts at painting a little bit larger than 6x8, and for the most part I followed a lot of my same painting-a-day composition. These felt like a step in the right direction and I was happy with how they turned out.

Thank you all for your comments and emails!

I love "Little Bit of Yellow". Such a wide range of beautiful grays with just enough yellow to punch it up.

Wow. What a joy it is to see all these new paintings by you. This made my day. I'm overwhelmed by this page of beauties:

"After the Show", "Looking Off" and the one with the tie on the pitcher (can't see the name for some reason)

Wonderful show! They are even better in person! I only wish you could do this more often. I hope you can find the time once in awhile to paint so we can all still enjoy your work and great talent.
