"Alongside" - SOLD

I don't know why every painting can't go as smooth as this one. This one was a fun one to paint, and I did not seem to run into too many problems. I did have a hard time starting though, and decide to go and buy some new mugs to get me going (one of which is above). If I had it my way I would probably buy new stuff to paint every day, but that would get pricey. However, if I get stuck it always seem to help to get out and buy something.

Beautiful, simple and clean. It looks like the strokes just fell off your brush like leaves landing in the right places. We should all be so lucky. A wonderful piece.

Aaron, I always get excited when i see in my google reader that there is a new painting from you. I enjoy them so much and this one didn't dissappoint. It's so lovely and fresh.

Hi Aaron,

It would get pricey wouldn't it. What
joy when everything works easily. But then every painting I've seen of yours looks effortless and masterly.
Another glorious work. You are an
inspiration.

Take care,

Barbara

Aaron, your paintings are so vibrant. I enjoy every one of them. I am also a 'prop' junkie. Can't go anywhere without seeing some little pitcher or cup that begs to be in a painting. GoodWill stores are a source of cheap props too.

I completely agree about getting something 'new' to paint - sometimes just the color or shape of a new mug or dish 'does it' for me. This is a beautiful painting. You were really in the zone here.

Aaron,
I love the design quality and freshness of your work. Bravo!
Buying new props is always a pick-me-up. "Antique" malls and flea markets are the best. Happy shopping.
