"Departure" - SOLD

This painting was fun to work on because of all the different shades of red on the tomato. Yesterday, however, was a wipe down, which is always frustrating. But, I like how this one turned out.

those occastional wipes are so necessary, aren't they? It's how we grow

Fantastic use of red and blue. It's so nice to know that the best artists have 'off' days.
Your paintings are very exciting.
Love the brushwork.

Such a beautiful painting! There is no "click to bid" line. Is it for sale?

Thanks everyone for your comments. Marilyn, I have now placed the painting for sale. I usually try and avoid selling on Friday, and Saturday nights.

Hi Aaron,

The composition and colour in this
one is superb. You can almost taste
the tomatoes, and they look so juicy and fresh.

Great.

I had to stop and add my "WOW!!!" to this one. And I'm not just saying this because I like you. I'm thinking of a lot of places this could be hung both commercial and residential ... and how this would enhance the space.

Aaron, This is gorgeous. It's amazing how you can make such a simple subject so beautiful. Holly

Utterly arresting and gorgeous in it's simplicity. It only looks simple- they aren't necessarily simple to do.
It's encouraging to know that wipe downs and scrapings are more common than I had thought, among artists I admire.
